Summary
To manage the logistics of product supply of Auspen and to develop and maintain good customer relations. To work in conjunction with the Managing Director to develop and manage Auspen market share.
Duties and Essential Job Functions
Customer Relations
- Attend to Auspen phone calls including customer feedback and order requests.
Supply to Customers
- Process all orders received.
- Supervise and be accountable for the correct packing and sending of all orders.
- Maintain a logbook of all goods dispatched out of the warehouse.
- Manage receivables.
Product Procurement
- Maintain timely supply of product.
- Predict sales.
- Forecast required stock levels.
- Order product within appropriate time frames to ensure receipt of goods to meet sales demands.
- Ensure cash flow accommodate purchases.
- Liaise with manufacturer to ensure product is quality controlled and appropriate standards.
- Liaise with shipping company to ensure timely arrival of goods.
Maintain inventory
- Stock take is required at the end of each month.
- Be accountable for any difference between physical count and computer records of stock.
- Maintain current standards of product storage.
Traditional Marketing
- Research and attend conferences.
- Recruit one or more new clients every day by phone or email.
- Oversee print advertising.
- Research, collate and distribute newsletters.
- Maintain and update current data base.
- Request and publish testimonials from satisfied clients.
- Devise viral marketing strategies using current client base.
- Design marketing material to include in all outgoing packages.
- Design and develop incentives to promote loyalty and repeat orders.
Web Based Marketing
- Direct marketing to clients via email.
- Updates to company website including blog posts.
- Editorials and newsletters on websites similar to Auspen.
- Analyse and report on web marketing statistics.
Research and Development
- Understand the Auspen company philosophy.
- Understand Auspen competition.
Reporting
- Weekly Sales Analysis (how much was sold, what was sold, who was it sold to, which state bought goods, new or repeat client).
- New client recruitment (report on new clients for the week).
Reporting is once a week for sales analysis and planned activities.
Monthly reporting (with accounts input) on profitability/budget.
